ECONOMIC MIGRANTS FROM FRANCE

Abraham Lincoln said you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can not fool all of the people all of the time. Well, you can.

Ask anyone for their opinion on the numbers of asylum seekers crossing The Channel to find sanctuary in the UK and they will respond with comments varying from “ban the lot of them” to “let them all in”

What they will not say  is that there is no such thing as “asylum seekers”  crossing the Channel. By the very definition of the phrase, there can not be.

These people have already found sanctuary in France, if indeed that is what they are looking for, and they have almost certainly crossed the borders of other countries where they could have applied for  asylum.

Then  they could have gone to the British Embassy or Consulate in the country where they first achieved sanctuary and applied for legal immigration into the UK

This latter option can be a slow process and they choose to speed it up and break our laws because they have paid good money to travel from their own countries, and are prepared to dip into their capital even more to cross from France to England where they have relatives or friends

THEY ARE ECONOMIC MIGRANTS and it is time we stopped listening to bleeding heart liberals, journalists, politicians and particularly charities who have fooled the nation into believing they are otherwise.

NOTE. This blog has raised this subject before and will continue to raise it. It is too important a subject to be dropped. See THE7FOOTPIGEON for another angle!
